Five reasons to go digital

You can find general information about Remedi on our website, www.yourremedi.co.za. But once you register on the website, you unlock powerful tools that allow you to check your available benefits and manage your benefit option wherever you go.

Your username and password give you quick and easy access to your membership details, personal details and your Remedi benefit details on our website or the Remedi app on your Android or Apple smartphone.

The following tools are available to keep you up to date and make your life easier:

1. A membership card you cannot lose

As long as you and your dependants have your smartphones with you, you have access to the virtual membership card by following the simple steps below.

  1. Download the Remedi app from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Log in using the same username and password you use for www.yourremedi.co.za.
  3. On the Medical aid landing page, select View membership card.
  4. Your digital membership card will be displayed.
2. Check your available benefits

You can simply check your Benefits used on the website or in the Remedi app. This shows you what benefits you and your dependants have used, what benefits are available and if limits apply to your cover. Click on Benefits on the landing page of the Remedi app or log in to the website and navigate to Your benefit option details > Benefits used.

3. Find a healthcare professional

The website and the app have a handy search function so you can find a healthcare professional near you. Once you've logged in to the website, all you need to do is choose Hospital and Doctor Visits and then Find a healthcare professional by entering the type medical professional you are looking for or their name, as well as your area or simply click on Find a healthcare provider on the landing page of the Remedi app.

4. Submit claims

You can send in your claims electronically and then track the claims you submit through the website and the Remedi app.

5. View your health record and share it

Your health record shows your medical history, such as what medicine you claimed for, when you visited the doctor and your diagnosis. You can also give your doctors access to this information so they know your medical history when they treat you.

Find answers to your pressing questions

We keep track of the kinds of questions our members ask us. You can find these on the Remedi website here.
